A flat meadow landscape – a model?, the thing one aims at from the hunter’s seat, the romantic “innocent” German landscape – is facing a red sign on which the black letters of the words, ‘THE PAST’, can be read. Only when the viewer has gone back and forth can he connect ‘ERASE. THE PAST’ in his head.
