The surfaces of photographs are joined in such a way that we follow the smooth transition of lines from one photograph to another, although they represent different fragments of streets and of a forest. They exist on the associative rather than the descriptive level; their identity also remains unexplained to the viewer. The fact that they are photographs of the streets of Vancouver and Canadian forests is not stated in his works, and is irrelevant to him.
